1st Hampden Park Scout Group

Our Scout Group was first registered as the15th Eastbourne way back on 18th March 1921. We were re-registered on 29th December 1937 as 1st Hampden Park.

Our group is made up of a Beaver Scout Colony, 2 Cub Scout Packs and a Scout Troop. In total as at January 2008 we have a slight reduction to the group membership we now have a membership of 89 this was mainly due to the problems of leadership within the Beaver Scout Colony and if we were going to have any leaders for it. The numbers are now climbing again now that a great new leadership team in place.

In the pages to come you will be able to read and see pictures of some of the things we do in our sections and as a group. I hope you find it interesting and there is also a place if you have young people who would like to join or any adults who would like to offer their services as a leader or part of the group executive.

CUB SCOUTS

We are in a unique position at the moment where we have a few vacancies in both Cub Scout Packs. So if you are boys or girls aged between 8 and 10 years of age and you wish to know more about joining please email using the Akela Badge link below. If you look at the photos pages on this site using the links under the camera you can see some of the things we do in the group.
