What We Have Done

• Learnt about Kenya and went to Kamp Kenya to visit the Cub Scouts & Scouts camping and took part in the activities
• Sign Language Evening-Learnt about Makaton ( sign language ) and sang the colours of the rainbow in Makaton.
• Senses Evening - Tried out all our senses with different activities including crisp tasting, guessing different sounds, guessing the smells in a bottle and looking at pictures that were enlarged so they looked different.
• Brought a friend for an evening and we played games, had hot dogs and had hot chocolate.
• We have a visit from a Pilot and a Air Hostess to talk about flying and their jobs.
• Personal Hygiene - Discovering how dirty our hands are even after washing, we found out by use of a UV light.
• Visiting a local place of worship, to meet the members and hear some stories while looking around.
• Re-enact a story before the investiture of our new Beaver Scouts.
• Go on a "Tinsel, Turkey and Beaver " Christmas Sleepover
• Tasting different fruits from around the world

What's Coming Up

• Basic First Aid.
• Local Place of Interest - we are lucky to be able to visit the local signal box and see how it works.
• 100 Challenges to achieve by October.
• Celebrate Chinese new year.
• Have fun in Bushy wood - Easter egg hunt

All these things go twoards the badges we can earn.
